Ceramic Band Heaters

Structure & Working Principle

Ceramic band heaters use spiral resistance wires threaded through ceramic tiles, providing excellent heat conduction and radiation. They ensure even heat distribution, perform well on irregular surfaces, and transfer heat via radiation, conduction and convection.

Applications & Advantages

Widely used in injection molding, extrusion, piping and cylindrical equipment, with a maximum temperature of 870°C (1600°F). They feature easy installation with clamping screws and springs, and support customization in size, terminals, holes and cut-outs.
